The BETAFPV Matrix 1S 3IN1 is the brain behind the 1S DJI O4 whoop: a flight controller, 12A ESC (18A peak), and ELRS 2.4GHz receiver on one tough board. It's built for solder-free installs, with motor plugs, a battery connector, and a 6-pin HD digital port that connects straight to your O4 Air Unit. Plug in, bind, fly.

1S HD whoops are hard on a power system, because the O4 pulls serious current as the battery sags. BETAFPV built a new BEC that delivers over 3A even down to 2.85V, so your video stays stable late in the pack. The STM32G473 processor (168MHz) is about 55% faster than the F411 it replaced, and the IMU gets its own independent 3.3V power supply to keep noise out of your gyro data.

Digital only: The 3IN1 is made for DJI O4 builds, so it has no analog OSD and no analog VTX. If you want analog, you'll need a different board.

Gyro note: This version uses the BMI270 gyro. BETAFPV uses different gyros across production runs, and the firmware has to match, so always check your gyro and use BETAFPV's matching firmware before flashing.

Common Questions

Is this for analog or digital video?
Digital. The 3IN1 is designed for the DJI O4 Air Unit and has an HD port for it. It has no analog OSD or VTX, so it isn't a fit for analog builds.

Which gyro does it have, and what firmware should I use?
This version has a BMI270 gyro. BETAFPV ships 3IN1 boards with different gyros, so check yours and flash only the BETAFPV firmware that matches. The 3IN1 and 4IN1 boards also need different firmware, so don't mix them up.

What does it fit?
It mounts on a 25.5–26mm square pattern, so it drops into the same frames as the other 26×26mm Matrix and Air boards. BETAFPV recommends it for the Meteor75 Pro II O4 and Meteor65 Pro II O4, and it also suits the Meteor Pro and Pro II frames with 1102 or 0802SE motors.

Is it really solder-free?
Yes. The motors plug in with JST1.25 connectors, the battery connects through BT2.0, and the O4 connects through the 6-pin HD cable. That makes it a good pick for first builds and quick board swaps.

How do I bind the receiver?
Plug and unplug the flight controller three times until the receiver LED does a quick double blink. Then put your radio into bind mode, and a solid light means it's bound.

Can I add GPS or other gear?
Yes. The board reserves two full-featured UARTs for things like external serial receivers, GPS, or other devices, and UART4 doubles as the HD (MSP) port.
