“Why won’t my drone arm?”

Safety features in Betaflight (like arming on wrong switch, low battery, or throttle not at zero) often block arming. Additionally, if you have warnings enabled in your OSD it will often tell you the reason why it won't arm.

“Why does my drone flip over on takeoff?”

Usually caused by a motor direction mismatch, wrong prop orientation, or incorrect motor order in Betaflight. Here's a quick video that'll fix your issues 90% of the time: Flip Over Video

“How long will my batteries last?”

Most 1S whoop batteries fly for ~3–5 minutes based on pilot skills, and condition of props and motors. Battery lifespan depends on how they’re charged, discharged, and stored.

“Why is my video feed snowy or cutting out?”

Common with analog drones. Interference, VTX set to low power, or goggles not tuned to the right channel are the culprits. Additionally, Check your antenna to make sure the wire isn't cut and the UFL connector isn't loose

“Do I need to register my drone in Canada?”

Drones under 250 g (like the Meteor75 Pro, Mobula6/7, Air65) don’t require registration with Transport Canada.

“Why won’t my radio bind to the drone?”

Most beginner issues come from mismatched firmware (ELRS versions), or not putting both radio and drone on the same bind phrase. Here's a video Explaining all 4 methods: How-to Bind v3.4 Express LRS Receivers • All 4 Methods [ELRS]

“How do I charge my batteries safely?”

Only use the included charger (or a balance charger for larger setups), never leave batteries unattended, and store them at ~3.8 V (3.85V for Hv) when not flying.

“Why does my flight time feel shorter than advertised?”

Aggressive throttle use, damaged batteries, damaged props, or flying outdoors in wind can cut flight times in half compared to indoor cruising.

“Do I need special goggles to fly?”

Yes — FPV drones use analog or digital systems. Make sure your goggles match (e.g., analog VTX with analog goggles, DJI O4 with O4-compatible goggles).

“Can I fly outside in the cold?”

Yes, but LiPo batteries perform worse in cold weather. Keep them warm before flying to avoid short flight times. Also, cold plastic = fragile plastic so expect significantly lowered frame lives
