The BETAFPV LAVA II is the next generation of one of the most popular 1S whoop batteries on the market. A core material upgrade pushes the discharge rate from 75C to 95C — a 26.7% increase — while squeezing 5.5–7.7% more capacity into the same compact form factor as the original LAVA. The result is a 27.9–35.1% boost in available current, more stable voltage under load, and longer, more consistent flights.
The Z-folding cell construction gives the LAVA II a 5% higher energy density and extended cycle life compared to conventional wound cells — more flights per battery before performance starts to drop.

Common Questions
Is the LAVA II compatible with my charger?
Yes — any BT2.0-compatible 1S charger works, including the VIFLY WhoopStor 3 and VIFLY 1S Charging Board.
What's the difference between the LAVA and LAVA II?
The LAVA II uses an upgraded core material for a higher 95C discharge rate (up from 75C) and slightly more capacity in the same physical size — it's a drop-in upgrade.
Which capacity should I choose?
The 280mAh and 320mAh are sized for 65mm class whoops. The 580mAh and 680mAh are for 75mm builds — In both cases you sacrifice flight time for performance, the 280mAh / 580mAh are lighter and more nimble while the 320mAh / 680mAh provide longer flight times.
What voltage should I store these at?
Store at 3.85V per cell. Don't leave them fully charged for more than a few days.
