Two-point-two grams. That's all each BETAFPV Air65 Champion Frame weighs, and BETAFPV built it to be the lightest 65mm whoop frame around. It takes the proven duct design of the Air65 II and trims it down to 17% lighter (2.20g vs 2.65g) by dropping from four arm braces to three. That's the frame behind the Air65 II Champion, and it comes as a 2-pack: one for the build, and one ready for the next crash.

Lighter doesn't mean flimsy. A PP plastic blend keeps it crash-ready, and the redesigned bracing cuts frame vibration, which BETAFPV says gives a near-perfect PID step response with under 12ms lag when paired with feedforward tuning. The result is crisp, predictable handling.

Details that make building easier: dented motor slots hold the motors in place, enlarged 1.2mm FC holes take 1.4mm screws easily, and the lowered 3.8mm ducts leave room for short-can motors and smooth airflow to the props. Available in Transparent Pink and Transparent Gray.

Important: Use only M1.4×2mm screws to mount the motors on this frame. Longer screws can damage the motors. Fifteen flat-head M1.4×2 screws are included with each frame.

Common Questions

What comes in a pack?
Two Air65 Champion frames in the colour you choose, each with its own set of 15 M1.4×2 screws. That's enough to build one now and have a spare ready.

How is it different from the Air65 II frame?
The Champion is lighter (2.20g vs 2.65g) and has three arm braces instead of four. It also uses shorter M1.4×2 motor screws, while the Air65 II frame uses M1.4×3. It's built for racing builds where weight matters most.

Which screws do I use for the motors?
Use only M1.4×2mm screws on the Air65 Champion frame. Using longer screws may damage the motors. Screws are included, so you have spares.

What flight controllers and motors fit?
The FC holes are 25.5 × 25.5mm, which suits boards like the Matrix 1S 5IN1 II and Air 1S FC. The motors mount on a 3× M1.4 pattern with a Ø6.6mm spacing, matching the BETAFPV 0702 (2026) motors. Props should be 31mm.

What battery fits the Champion frame?
The slot measures 11.4 × 6.2mm, which fits the LAVA II 1S 280mAh and 320mAh batteries that BETAFPV recommends.

Is it tough enough for race crashes?
It's made from an optimised PP blend with screw-protection structures and motor fixing slots, so it's designed to survive hard crashes and violent maneuvers.
